Continuously determining water flow rate (l/s, m³/s) and volume (m³); transmitting data to the server
Operating principle
Ultrasonic sensors detect the water level; the software calculates the flow rate, controls it and sends it to the server

Installation requirements
Chipoletti/Thomson-type devices determine flow based on water level. The following requirements apply during installation:
- The device's water-passing section must be installed vertically;
- A constant head difference of Δh = 0.1–0.15 m must be maintained between the device's crest and the intake ditch water levels;
- The downstream water level must not affect the upstream side (no backwater effect);
- When installed at canal water-intake points, it must be 1–2 m from the canal's side wall;
- The solar panel must receive at least 3–4 hours of sunlight per day;
- The data transmission system and battery cabinet must be installed in a dry place, protected from moisture.
