Continuously determining water flow rate (l/s, m³/s) and volume (m³); remote flow control, passing the required amount of water
Operating principle
Ultrasonic sensors detect the water level; the software calculates the flow rate, controls it and sends it to the server (based on water level)

Installation requirements
The Smart Channel M-1 device determines water flow based on water level. Therefore it cannot be installed just anywhere. The following requirements apply during installation:
- The device must be installed horizontally;
- A constant head difference of Δh = 0.2–0.5 m must be maintained between the water levels of the intake source and the intake ditch, ensuring free-flow conditions;
- The downstream water level must not affect the upstream water level (no backwater effect);
- When installed at canal water-intake points, it must be placed 1–2 m from the canal's side wall;
- The solar panel must receive at least 3–4 hours of sunlight per day;
- The data transmission system and battery cabinet must be installed in a dry place, protected from moisture.
